NEWLY FORMED local band, The Hand me Downs, have recorded and released their first video.

The seven-minute YouTube clip features a medley of songs recorded live at ‘Life’ in Willie Ramblers, Enniskillen.

The band features Jimmy Farry on vocals, Marty Jones on drums, Adam Cooke on bass, Roni McManus on bazoki, Jenni McGullion on guitar, George Bracken on keyboards, and Jay Snyder on washboard, bodhran and cajob.

“It was recorded behind closed doors in Life at Willie Ramblers last week by Ciara Jones,” explained Jimmy.

“It’ll be primarily used to promote the band and what we do. Also we find it difficult to describe to our friends, family and anyone else who will listen what we sound like and how we can send them to YouTube and they can see for themselves,” he added.

“So far the response has been great – everyone who has seen it has been really enthusiastic about the project and what we’re doing.”
