A FIRM that focuses on the specialist commercial and industrial electronic surveillance security systems market has opened in Fivemiletown.
The new security monitoring facility, BSecure Monitoring Solutions, was officially opened by the Enterprise Minister, Arlene Foster.
It is part of Lisnaskea company McElwaine Security Services Limited, and it brings its staff total to 28.
BSecure Monitoring Solutions offer customers an integrated security system comprising intelligent monitoring solutions within CCTV Monitoring, lone worker and tele-care.
Over the last 12 months, the McElwaine family has overseen the expansion of services into a purpose-built facility.
Mrs Foster, speaking at the opening, said the McElwaine family had been in business for over 40 years.
She went on: “It gives me great confidence to hear of an established local company that is continuing to grow and innovate.
For Northern Ireland to prosper, we need to ensure that businesses are supported, new markets are explored and that companies are encouraged to compete across Great Britain, the Republic of Ireland and further afield – just as BSecure Monitoring Solutions are striving to do.”
The Minister said it was, ‘very encouraging’ to see that, despite difficult economic conditions, entrepreneurs like Jason McElwaine were committing the necessary time and energy to expand their businesses.
Over the last 18 months, Invest NI has offered a total of £85,600 to help establish the business and increase employment.
BSecure Monitoring Solutions has been accredited by the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) with Category II, ACR Gold Scheme.
Jeff Little, OBE, its chief executive officer was in attendance today to officially present the certificate to the Company.
