Fermanagh Cavan game set for Brewster park

Brewster Park has been confirmed as the venue for the Ulster Championship game with Cavan

Brewster Park has been confirmed as the venue for the Ulster Championship game with Cavan

Fermanagh’s Ulster Championship Quarter Final tie with Cavan will go ahead at Brewster Park on June 16.

Following Cavan’s victory over Armagh yesterday Fermanagh became the home side for the game and at a meeting of the Ulster Council yesterday afternoon it was confirmed Brewster would be the venue, with a 2pm throw in.

Plans will be made to ensure the game can be operated as appropriate to a Ulster Senior Football Championship game with a view to assisting all those travelling to the game.

There had previously  been concerns that due to the G8 Summit starting the following day the game would have to be moved, but this will not be the case and Enniskillen will likely play host to a sell out Championship encounter.
