Bronagh Brodereick performs her original composition during the Irish Youth Music Awards

THE WINNER OF Irish Youth Music Awards Fermanagh heat was Bronagh Broderick, and, she will represent Fermanagh this weekend.

Organised by ‘Right Here Fermanagh’, the event took place recently in the Hangout, Enniskillen.

Four entered the competition where they had to perform one original track, and one cover.

These included, Adam Doherty, Bronagh Broderick, David Donnelly and Christian Mulligan

David, covered ‘Songbird’, and performed an original, ‘Don’t Miss Me’, which went on to claim the title of ‘best song’ on the night.

Cristian Mulligan sang a rendition of ‘The Town I Loved So Well’, with his own song, ‘Moving on’, while Adam Doherty, who closed proceedings, sang ‘Wherever You Will Go’, and the self-penned ‘Take It All’.

The winner, on the night, Bronagh Broderick, performed ‘Wayfaring Stranger’, and her own, ‘The Crack of Dawn’.
There were four music advisers who gave each act advice, support and positive and constructive feedback on their performances and their original songs.

There was good support on the Friday night from friends and family from each act and the crowd were encouraged by the level of talent.

Bronagh Broderick will be moving on to Dublin for the next round of the competition, singing David Donnelly’s song “Don’t Miss Me”.
