Warm conditions and high-class fields made for yet another great day’s athletics at the 2025 edition of the Belfast Milers Club meet, at the Mary Peters Track, on Saturday.
Frank Buchanan had the B European 1500m standard in his sights as he lined up in a very large field of 22 athletes in a strong ‘A’ race.
Buchanan got himself into a good position sitting mid-pack and taking the shortest route on the inside in the early part of the race.
