A SONG, which was released by Enniskillen singer Sean Magee, has soared through the charts and it was recently confirmed that it has over three million steams on music platform Spotify.
The Fermanagh man burst onto the scene after he released his own version of a Christy Moore classic ‘Tippin’ it up to Nancy’ which went down a treat with his wide and growing fan base.
Magee recently revealed that his song has achieved success beyond his wildest dreams.
“This day last year ‘Tippin’ it up to Nancy’ had just hit one million streams,” said singer Magee.
“Fast forward a year and it’s nearly at three million streams on Spotify. Ballyconnell Fair nearly at the half a million milestone as well. Amazing. Thank you for all the support.”
Magee, who has been working on producing new music, recently released his new single ‘The Irish Pub Song’.. He also partnered up with Scottish man Calum McPhail on a new song.
The Enniskillen man was one of the main attractions in America for its many Irish music fans.
Magee took centre stage at ‘Haswell Green’s’ in Time Square, in New York, for the annual St Patrick’s Day celebrations, which attracted a large crowd to the popular establishment.
It was also confirmed that Magee will share the stage with some of the country’s top talents at the ‘What’s De Craic Festival’ which is scheduled to take place in Kildare on Saturday, June 1.
“Sean almost brought the tent down on his own with an electric performance showcasing his amazing vocals and guitar playing, along with world-class fiddle playing,” a spokesperson said.
