Enniskillen Royal Boat Club rowers returned with 13 wins for the club last weekend from the Neptune and Dublin Commercial Regattas.
Rowing on the River Liffey, the twisting 1000 metre course at Islandbridge was the first side-by-side test of the season and was a chance for the Junior 13 beginner rowers to experience classic river racing, albeit at J14 level, and they acquitted themselves well.
There were five wins for the club on Saturday and eight on Sunday and both regattas were well supported by crews from all four provinces, so much so that the J14 and J15 heats were all deemed finals.
The focus now switches to the multi-lane Skibbereen Regatta at the National Rowing Centre on Inniscarra Lake County Cork this Saturday.
The club will be represented by Junior 16 and 18 crews in fours, pairs and eights. Good results here will set the tone for the rest of the season right up until mid-July.
