Over 1000 students from right across Fermanagh, Cavan, Tyrone and South Donegal were present to contest the E District Cross Country Championships at Castle Irvine Estate in Irvinestown on Tuesday.
In the Minor Girls’ race, Kate Kelly totally dominated proceedings from the gun running well clear of the large field to record a very comprehensive win ahead of teammate Maebh Donnelly. While Laura Quinn of St Joseph’s Donaghmore was denied a clean sweep by the Mount Lourdes girls as she pipped Kate Cassidy for third.
