Fermanagh police give CPR to patient in Enniskillen

POLICE in Fermanagh came to the aid of a patient experiencing a medical emergency in Enniskillen town centre yesterday (Tuesday), providing CPR for alongside medical professionals.

In a post on social media, Fermanagh and Omagh PSNI said it was the second time in a week officers had come to the aid of a member of the community, stating the force would always do all it could to help the public.

“Last week it was rescuing a young female who was trapped upside down in a car on it’s roof near Letterbreen,” the said. “Today it was doing CPR on a man for nearly an hour in Enniskillen town centre alongside paramedics.

“Whatever duty we are called upon, we are privileged to be able to help people in their time of need. No matter how difficult or dangerous it might be for us, we will never forget that someone’s family is counting on us to protect their loved ones.

“We are human and therefore never perfect but we will always do our best to protect you.”
