FERMANAGH Country music star Nathan Carter is set to take centre stage at Whitebottom Farm in Stockport when the Liverpudlian headlines one of the UK’s biggest outdoor music festivals.
The Liverpool singer, who’s living in Bellanaleck, has been confirmed as the main performer at the ‘Craic by the Creek’ festival which is expected to see hundreds of music fans flock to Stockport.
There is going to be plenty of Fermanagh flavour at the event with the hugely popular band, The Tumbling Paddies, also confirmed as participants at the Whitebottom Farm-based event.
It has been a busy time for Carter who recently took another major step in his ever-growing music career by releasing his new single, ‘Listen To The Radio’ with local band, ‘Tully’.
“’Tully’ are all great musicians and their harmonies are fantastic. Now that their families are at an independent stage they’re going back performing with full force,” Carter told the ‘Sunday World’.
“They’re recording a new album at the moment and are absolutely buzzing and thrilled to be back having a second shot at life in the world of entertainment.”
The Fermanagh resident is in big demand up and down the country and he’s preparing for a busy finish to the month which will see him headline gigs in Dublin, Kerry, Waterford and Galway.
Carter has recently teased fans that he’s planning to release new music, after he was snapped working alongside legendary music producer, Guy Chambers.
“[I] had a great couple of days in London writing and recording with the hit maker Guy Chambers. I can’t wait to get back,” the Liverpool singer said from Kensington in London.
Carter has also recently been spotted working on a new project with Donegal Country music legend, Daniel O’Donnell, where he joked they were working on a ‘Baywatch audition’.
