Appeal for information following early morning burglary

Detectives in Enniskillen are appealing for information following a report of a burglary at a commercial premises at the Clabby Road area this morning (Wednesday 19th June).

Detective Inspector Trevor Stevenson said: “Shortly after 2:30am, it was reported that a black VW Golf car with four men on board entered the area. A quantity of cigarettes were stolen from a service station at the scene. As the black VW Golf car tried to leave the area, a white coloured van arrived at the scene and obstructed the car causing damage to the VW Golf.”

Police confirmed a 23 year old man arrested on suspicion of burglary has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

“Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone with any information or who saw anything suspicious in the area to contact detectives in Enniskillen on 101, quoting reference number 140 19/6/19. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
