HE murder case against the man accused of starting the Derrylin fire has been delayed for a week.
The fire claimed the lives of four members of the same family over a year ago.
Daniel Allen (28), is charged with the murders of Denise Gossett, Sabrina Gossett, Roman Gossett, and baby Morganna Gossett at a house on the Molly Road, Derrylin on February 27th last year. He is also charged with arson endangering life with intent.
Allen appeared at Enniskillen Magistrates Court on Monday via video link from Maghaberry Prison, where he has been in custody since the fire in February 2018.
Defence solicitor Gary Black said he had received the case papers which were quite ‘voluminous’ and said he would not be in the position to proceed with the planned preliminary enquiry date.
District Judge Michael Ranaghan adjourned the case until May 20th for mention.
