THE children of Erne Integrated Primary School put their best foot forward as they danced and sang to celebrate 30 years of the school.
On Friday, the school recorded a video to the popular song ‘This is Me’ from the Greatest Showman for a video to celebrate 30 years of the school.
The last 30 years has seen the school going from strength to strength. When the school opened in 1989, there was 64 pupils and now there is 408 pupils attending the school.
The idea for the video came from the children, and will be released in the coming weeks.
School principal Adele Kerr proudly said, “The kids had a ball. We are 30 years open on September 1st.
“It was to encourage children to take a step back and look at something from a different perspective, so we asked the children for ideas and our anti-bullying ambassador teamed up with the idea of making this video with the anti-bullying message in it”.
Further celebrations are taking place on May 10th at 7pm with a 30th anniversary dinner being held in the Killyhevlin Hotel. All past pupils and friends of the school are invited to come along.
Tickets are available now from the school.
