A LOCAL man has pleaded not guilty to four charges of burglary, three charges of handling stolen goods and a charge of criminal damage, at Dungannon Crown Court.
27-year-old Samuel Dorn, Tullychurry Road, Tullyfad, Kesh, is pleading not guilty to stealing a rowing boat, oars lead and other household items at Bilberry Island, Garrison, on dates between Match 21 2015 and April 10 2015.
The defendant is also denying similar charges in respect of alleged theft of boats, canoe oars and a copper cylinder at 82 Loughside Road, Garrison, alleged theft of copper piping a boat engine watersports items and other household items at 454 Boa Island Road Belleek and alleged theft of a rowing boat, at Roskit Island, Garrison.
The defendant is also denying charges that he handled stolen goods, namely, a generator, watersports equipment and a CD player, a boat, oars, a quantity of lead, a brass fire fender and a camping stove .
He is also denying causing criminal damage to a Landrover belonging to Richard Hamilton.
The court was told that co-accused, 27-year-old Pauric Maguire, Muckenagh, Garrison was due before Dungannon Crown Court for arraignment on Friday. The case was adjourned for mention to March 10 and the defendant was told to be in court on that date.
