MOTORISTS should expect disruption to their journey in the Cole’s Hill area of Enniskillen, as water mains rehabilitation work is currently underway.
Work commenced in the area in late November 2016, but NI Water took a break over the Christmas and New Year period. It recommenced on Monday January 9th and is expected to come to be complete in early March. The work aims to enhance the quality, reliability and security of the local water supply.
Motorists are advised that in order to complete this work efficiently and safely, a road closure has been put in place along Cole’s Hill Road. Traffic management is in place and a diversion is available via the B81 Rossory Church Road to A46 to Ann Street/Wellington Road to Henry Street and Sligo Road.
A spokesman for NI Water, has said,
“Access is being maintained for local residents as far as possible. However, it is not always possible to facilitate access through the works site and the diversion may have to be followed on occasion.
NI Water is grateful to residents and commuters in the area for their patience while this essential water mains rehabilitation work is carried out. ”
Anyone with any queries or concerns should contact Waterline on 03457 440088.
