Police probe after 166 bales slashed open in Ederney

Police have appealed for information after the discovery of 166 bales slit open in the village of Ederney. In the first incident 30 bales slit open on the Cloy Road while a further 136 bales were also slashed on the Edenclaw Road. The farmland attacks occurred sometime between 6pm on Tuesday of this week, October 11th, and 8am yesterday (Wednesday). The PSNI confirmed that thousands of pounds worth of damage has been caused.

Police are appealing for anyone who can help them with their enquiries to get in touch. The number to call is 101 quoting reference number 390 of 12.10.16. Alternatively information about crime can be passed via the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
