THE YOUNGER brother of country music star Nathan Carter says he plans to move from England to Enniskillen to follow in the family footsteps. Jake Carter was in Enniskillen last week to shoot the video for his very first single, ‘Trouble’.
And the choice of setting was an unlikely one – Peter Bogue’s body repair business just off the Tempo Road.
Speaking at the set of his new video, Jake Carter was excited to see the finished product and looking forward to the release of his new single.
“The video went really well, it all worked out and everything fell in to place, thank God. We got some great shots and I’m really excited to see the finished product in the next few weeks. This is my first recorded video and it is so exciting.
“We had a big production set up, Lisa McHugh lent me her lighting rig, and the Engagements were my band for the video,” he added.
Having watched Nathan’s career go from strength to strength, Jake is ready for his own slice of success. He also has some good news for the ladies of Fermanagh as the talented country singer has plans to move to Enniskillen in the next year.
“The plan in the end is to move over here and start a band here in Enniskillen. Nathan is a big influence in my music, but I am currently working on the idea of doing a more modern country scene,” added Jake. ‘Trouble’ was released on iTunes earlier today!
