A 62-year old Fermanagh appeared in court this week to face three child pornography charges.
The man, who cannot be identified following a court ruling, appeared before Enniskillen Magistrates Court on Monday accused of making and possessing child pornography.
He is charged with making and possessing indecent photographs or pseudo photographs of a child and a third charge of being in possession of extreme pornographic images.
Details of the offences, which were committed on June 1st 2015, were not given in court.
Following medical advice from the man’s GP, defence barrister, Stefan Rafferty, requested that a publication order be imposed.
District Judge Nigel Broderick ruled that the name and address of the accused should not be released at this time. He adjourned the case until August 22nd and requested a more detailed and up to date medical report on the defendant.
The man was released on £500 bail and ordered to have no unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 18 unless approved by Social Services. He was also ordered to notify police of any change of address.
