A Wilde Weekend is taking place across Enniskillen this weekend, Friday 1st -Monday 4th May. The world’s first multi-arts festival will celebrate the life and work of Oscar Wilde.
The Fermanagh Herald and the ‘Wilde Weekend’ organisers are delighted to offer our readers the opportunity to win one of two family tickets (2 adults & 2 kids) to the THE HAPPY PRINCE on Sunday 3rd May, 3.45pm, St Macartin’s Catherdal, Enniskillen. The audience will experience a theatrical reading featuring a Special Guest narrator, local ‘charity children’ and other voices curated by Sally Rees.
Wilde attended Portora Royal School from 1864-1871 and it is thought Enniskillen and the surrounding lakes inspired his most famous short story, THE HAPPY PRINCE.
