Fermanagh narrowly lost out to Monaghan in the National League Division three derby game at Brewster Park.
It was the accuracy of Conor McManus and Paul Finlay that won the game for Monaghan.
Keeper Chris Snow saved a Darren Hughes penalty and Fermanagh pulled level in the 54th minute.
