Oscar-winning film-maker, James Scott, flew into Fermanagh from Los Angeles last week to record part of a film in celebration of his father, the internationally famous artist, William Scott.
William Scott (1913-1989) was brought up in Fermanagh and attended the Model Primary School.
During his stay in Enniskillen James took the opportunity to interview pupils from the Model Primary School who have recently produced their own masterpieces inspired by William Scott. The pupils’ pictures will take pride-of-place with work from other Fermanagh schools alongside William Scott’s original paintings in the forthcoming ‘Full-Circle’ exhibition at Enniskillen Castle Museums.
It is hoped that James Scott’s film will ready to show before the end of the exhibition in August 2013.
