A HUGELY respected classroom assistant in Enniskillen has been named as the ‘Best Support Staff in the North West Region’ at a prestigious awards ceremony in Belfast.
Cathy Murphy, a popular member of staff at St Joseph’s College in Enniskillen, claimed the top honour at the Families First NI Secondary, Grammar and College Awards.
The Fermanagh school was one of the big winners at the event which took place at Titanic Quarters in Belfast, picking up a second accolade at the glitzy awards ceremony in Belfast.
“This is richly deserved recognition for Mrs [Cathy] Murphy’s excellent work as a Learning Support Assistant,” posted St Joseph’s College, Enniskillen.
“To top off the night, St Joseph’s College received ‘Highly Commended in The Best School of the Year’ category. Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to vote. We are delighted.”
