Enniskillen employees honoured in style

THREE employees at Asda have been celebrated for their longevity and commitment after they clocked up a staggering 90-years of service to the supermarket giant.
A major celebration event, titled ‘Big Anniversary’, was recently held to honour some of the longest serving workers at the eight different Asda stores across the North.
Asda Enniskillen employee, Jennifer Cochrane, leads the way with 40-years dedicated to Asda.
Her colleagues, Trudy Taylor, clocked up 30 years, while Heather Burns has reached 25 years with the British supermarket and petrol station chain, Asda.
Enniskillen employee, Jennifer Cochrane, was delighted to receive the special accolade from Asda.
“Along with the rest of our team, I was delighted to attend the ‘Big Anniversary’ celebration event,” she said.
“It was a wonderful opportunity to have some fun, congratulate each other, and reflect on all of the great memories we’ve shared over the years with Asda.”
Senior Director for Asda Northern Ireland, Niall Keyes, feels it’s important to celebrate the long-running workers at the Enniskillen store.
“Our colleagues really are the heartbeat of our stores.
“ I was absolutely honoured to celebrate with colleagues of a combined nearly 600 years’ service in the room,” he said.
“The Big Asda Celebration event was a great opportunity to recognise some of our longest serving colleagues and I am so proud of them.
“I look forward to catching up with them all in store again soon.”
