The Tumbling Paddies has said they ‘can’t wait’ to headline one of Ireland’s biggest music festivals this summer.
The Fermanagh band has established themselves as one of the hottest properties on the local music scene and they’re recently been confirmed as the main performers at the ‘Culchie’s Bash’.
A huge crowd is expected to turn out to Shannonbridge in Offaly for the much-anticipated festival, with the Tumbling Paddies saying they’re looking forward to the upcoming dates in July.
“We can’t wait to return to Shannonbridge this July. Tickets are selling fast,” reports the band.
It has been a busy time for The Tumbling Paddies who recently teased fans that some new music could be on the way, to the delight of their large and ever-growing fan base across the island.
The Tumbling Paddies recently released their live album ‘The Journey So Far’ and the track album went down a big hit with their music fan base, on both sides of the border.
Speaking to the Herald prior to the release of their live album, percussionist with The Tumbling Paddies, John McCann, was excited by the production. “We have been working very hard on this album and we’re looking forward to seeing how it will go down with the fans,” he said.
“We feel very lucky that everywhere we go and everywhere we play, we’re greeted by so many fans and we’re very thankful always for the support that we receive.”
The Tumbling Paddies have a busy weekend in store, starting off with what’s expected to be a sold-out gig at Shirley’s Summer Sesh in Ballymoney on Friday.
They’ve also confirmed that they’ll be heading up a show at the Landmark Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon on Saturday, before performing at the Breffni Bash in Cavan Town on Sunday.
