Community in shock after Brookeborough death

A man has died suddenly on a farm in the Brookeborough area.

Circumstances around the death are still unknown, as the Health and Safety Executive investigate what happened.  The tragic news, which began to emerge yesterday evening, has left the community of Brookeborough devastated and in complete shock that a tragedy of this kind could happen just a day after Christmas.

A spokesman from the PSNI said, “Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the sudden death of a man at a farm in the Brookeborough area on Thursday 26th December. The Health and Safety Executive is investigating the circumstances.”
