Over 90 family, friends and neighbours gathered for a 100th birthday party to help celebrate the remarkable lady’s big birthday. 

For the past few months Sarah has been living with her daughter Patricia, but this did not deter lifelong neighbours from coming along to join in the celebrations. 

Although over 90 people turned up for the party there were still a few who couldn’t make it, however, every effort was made to pop in the day before or after to wish Sarah a happy birthday. This was something that was greatly appreciated by the 100-year-old who was glad to see all friends over the days surrounding her birthday. 

Sarah’s family said they were blessed with the ‘most supportive’ extended family and the ‘chatting was epic’ as everyone got together for the birthday celebrations. Everyone enjoyed catching up and were treated to food and drinks organised by Eileen and Eamon.

Sarah received loads of flowers, presents and cards to mark the occasion, so much so that it took a day to get through reading them all. Yet, Sarah got great enjoyment from them. Thanks to her friends, family and neighbours her 100th birthday was truly special and memorable.
