NEWS has emerged today that part of the new Star Wars movie is to be filmed in Fermanagh.
According to Disney Big Dog Forest in Derrygonnelly is set to be a location for filming for the new film ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’, with the Tir Navar Centre to be the base for the film crew.
Speaking on the street today one local Derrygonnelly man said: “You wouldn’t catch me watching that rubbish. The farm takes up most of the day and at night I just like a cup of tea.”
The scenes for the movie are set to be filmed next week, with the new movie due for release in December 2016.
