THE official video for Lisa McHugh’s new single ‘Mean’, has a special message at its core.
The Glaswegian, who has lived in Enniskillen for the last few years, released the video last night.
The song is a Taylor Swift cover, and Lisa is promoting a strong anti-bullying message. All proceeds from the single to PIPS Charity. PIPS provide support to individuals who are considering, or who have at some point considered, ending their own lives.
PIPS support families who have lost someone to suicide. The charity has a small team of paid staff and volunteers supporting those in need, by providing clients with immediate support, such as counselling services and support groups.
“It’s very upsetting to know so many people suffer at the hands of bullying” said Lisa, “far too often, suicide comes hand in hand with this. Suicide awareness is something so important today, especially among young people, and PIPS is a fantastic, locally-run charity which helps people suffering, on our doorsteps”.
