IT’S that time of year again – oh no it isn’t – (oh yes it is) – it’s Panto number 27 for the Lakeland Players.
This popular group take to the stage to bring the story of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ to life in January 2014.
With rehearsals full steam ahead since September the players have once again assembled a cast of young and not so young to bring together their own brand of music and mayhem.
A chorus of junior members singing and dancing, a cast of characters made new and familiar faces makes for a great start to the new year.
As has been the tradition with the Lakeland Players young members of the group that have featured in the chorus over the years, now move centre stage to undertake principal roles.
The familiar faces are there working alongside a new ‘baddie’ who joins as Mr Fleshcreep.
Rehearsals will continue right up to Christmas and into the new year, with the show opening on Thursday 9 and continuing until Saturday 18.
