THE head chef of the Lough Erne Resort, Noel McMeel will be aiming to come up with the goods when he dons his chef’s and gown for a prestigious ‘hospitality’ event in Belfast next week.
Just recently, the Resort’s ‘Catalina Restaurant’ was Best Hotel Restaurant in Ulster at the Irish Food and Wine Awards.
And, Noel and his staff got critical praise for their work at this year’s G8 summit.
Next week, he will be cooking up some fantastic flavours of Fermanagh at the Hospitality Exchange 2013 event in the Ramada Plaza Hotel, Belfast.
Now in its 14th year, it is the north’s largest tourism and hospitality conference.
In addition to Noel, this year’s line-up includes 2-star Michelin chef, Tom Kerridge, who has just launched his new TV series, ‘Proper Pub Food’.
There will be industry master classes on, “Knowing your Audience” and, “Creating Experiences”.
Meanwhile, the organisers are inviting anyone with a burning question to ask an experienced industry panel to come along.
“This is your opportunity to hear what people think and find out what issues the industry is currently experiencing and, more importantly, what people and doing to address them.”
An accompanying trade exhibition will feature some of the province’s best known suppliers, including a dedicated a food and drink area.
The conference will see a number of new products launched over the two days.
