A COUNTRY night to raise funds for Drumary House is to take place this weekend.
Drumary House has been on the site since 1989 and was taken over by Potens, specialist support and accommodation providers in 2007.
Potens also operate a supported living scheme at Knockmore – and the two homes work closely together.
Residents, families and friends will be donning their stetsons as a whole host of local names in country are part of the night which will take place on September 16.
Anthony McBrien, Carmel Gallagher, Karl Kilpatrick, John Garrity and Viki Henry are set to perform, with the event raising vital funds for the event.
Angie Thompson, of Drumary House, said: “The proceeds of this event will go towards the cultivation of a sensory garden in the grounds of Drumary House and sensory equipment for the elderly and less able service users, together with educational computer equipment for our younger service users to help them with reading, writing and telling the time.”
She added: “It will be a night of great music with some wonderful singers such as Anthony McBrien, Carmel Gallagher, Karl Kilpatrick, John Garrity and Viki Henry taking to the stage.”
Drumary House is a residential care home for adults of all ages with learning disabilities.
It has accommodation for 17 people and is currently home for 15 service users with a learning disability.
The country night takes place at Derrygonnelly Community Centre on the September 16 at 8pm.
