THE SUMMER is approaching; festival season is nearly upon us.

And at the Enniskillen Rugby Club, for the second year in a row, there’s a festival like no other.

‘Ruck ‘N’ Roll’, which last year had its maiden voyage, have extended the festival to encompass two days of local music – from near and far – packed unto two stages.

Over 20 acts will come together on June 29 and 30.

On the main stage, festival goers can expect great things as Nerdmore, Droids, and Optimus Rhyme journey down to take the stage on Saturday.

Home-grown talent I’m Not Maggie, Indigo Fury and Yellow Car No Return will also be on hand.

On the acoustic stage, expect a more mellow atmosphere.

Confirmed acts so far, which include Chocolate Love Factory, Caimin O’Shea, Michael Smith, Atticus Finch, Philthy and My Pyrrhic Victory, will be providing easy-going tunes into the night.

The first batch of tickets will go on sale on May 27 for £15, and will be available to buy in Blake’s of the Hollow between 7pm and 9pm.

There will be a limited number of evening only early bird tickets, which will also be on sale on the May 27.

If live bands and good music is your thing, make sure to look up the official Facebook page, Ruck N’ Roll 2013, where there will be regular updates on confirmed bands, ticket sales and other details.
