Clogher man facing firearm and assault charges

CHARGES relating to an alleged incident earlier this year involving a firearm have been put to a Clogher man who appeared in court.
Alan McFarland (63) from Ballagh Road is accused of assaulting a male causing actual bodily harm as well as possessing a shotgun with intent to cause him to believe violence would be used.
District Judge Francis Rafferty remanded McFarland on continuing bail to return to court on 4 July.
