When police attended the scene, they found that the front door window pane and doorframe of a house belonging to Keith Guy had been damaged.
Police were also told that Bratton had shouted through the letterbox of the house: “I’ll kill you when I get you”.

Bratton was located soon afterwards by police in a vehicle and later charged with criminal damage.

Defence solicitor Niall Bogue explained that the injured party in the case Mr Guy was the new partner of Bratton’s ex-partner.

Mr Bogue added that his client had consumed alcohol before making “a bad decision” to visit Mr Guy’s home.
“It was a very poor action and reflects badly on his part,” said Mr Bogue.

Deputy District Judge Neil Rafferty described Bratton’s actions as being “effectively domestic violence”.
The  judge  imposed a £300 fine on Brattonand an £85 compensation order.
