Five new local faces to represent Queen

FIVE new deputy lieutenants have been appointed in County Fermanagh this week. 
The appointments were announced by Viscount Brookeborough, the current Lord-Lieutenant of County Fermanagh, on Monday following approval by Queen Elizabeth. 
The five will be available to represent the Lord-Lieutenant at important events from time to time. Their appointments will take effect from June 1st. 
The seventh Earl of Erne, John Crichton, of Crom Castle has been appointed alongside well known Enniskillen accountant Anthony Rasdale and Dr John Graham. Irvinestown businessman Ernest Fisher has also been appointed as has Hamish Logan from Ballinamallard, Customer Service Manager at T P Topping in Enniskillen. 
Those appointed DLs have either served the local community, or have a history of public service in other fields. They will represent the Lord Lieutenant in his absence, including at local ceremonies and official events. They must live within their ceremonial county, or within seven miles of its boundary.
