It seems to be award after award for the Belmore Court after the Enniskillen establishment scooped the runner up award in the Hotel Receptionist of the Year 2016 team category at the Hotel Receptionist of the Year gala awards ceremony in the City Hotel, Derry.

Reacting to the award Motel owner Terry McCartney said: “It’s great to be able to compete at this level. Whenever you think we are a very small four star guest accommodation in the ‘countryside’ of the province competing with bigger four and five star hotels.

“When you think Fermanagh is the friendliest place in the UK and this shows that the team we have at the Belmore Court is adding to that. We’re making sure that people who come here have an exceptional visit with regard to customer care and warmth of welcome.”

Mr McCartney feels his Motel is punching ‘well above its weight’.

“It’s a small team that we have here and we’re able to focus on what we want to do,” he added.

This week the Motel had an inspection from the Northern Ireland tourism who he said, remarked on the cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of the staff before re-awarding the four star status to the Motel.
