Ballinamallard United and Coleraine drew 1-1 yesterday (Tuesday) in the Mallard’s first fixture since the league split.

Curtis Allen put the visitors  in front in the 19th minute at Ferney Park when his head  connected with Howard Beverland’s right-wing cross and flew over home goalkeeper James McGrath.

After a lacklustre first half performance Ballinamallard regrouped and their improved play was rewarded with a goal from club captain Mark Stafford. He powered home the equalizer after meeting David Kee’s long ball.

Ballinamallard remain in 6th after Tuesday afternoon’s game.
