She was disqualified from driving for a period of four months  and fined £150.

The prosecutor outlined that on February 10, 2016 at 2.30pm police were on mobile patrol on the A4 Enniksillen to Belfast road when they encountered the defendant driving a Renault vehicle in the direction of Brookeborough.

Cullen was travelling ahead of police and officers noted the vehicle continued to pull away from them, with the speedometer on the police car reaching 100mph in order to keep up. The defendant pulled after police signalling and officers spoke to Cullen.
They cautioned her for driving at excess speed and she offered no excuse.

During interview Cullen confirmed she was speeding and said at the time thought she was travelling at 88mph. The court heard that the defendant was heavily pregnant at the time of the offence.

He told the court the defendant had been caught speeding on two previous occasions in the south and currently had five points on her UK licence. The defence said that while Cullen now lived in Bangor all her family lived in Dublin. District judge Peter King imposed the sentence.
