Belcoo 1-9
Roslea 1-12

Roslea collected their fourth senior championship crown in five seasons with a hard fought victory over Belcoo at Brewster Park.

It was Roslea’s second half which won the title with the Quigley brothers Seamus and Sean a potent force for the Shamrocks, scoring 1-10 between them.

It was Belcoo who opened the scoring with three points, but it was a penalty miss by captain Paul McGrath which proved crucial.

Roslea were let off the hook again when Johnny Feeley missed a good goal chance which his side led by three points.

That shook Roslea into life to lead by 1-5 to 0-5 at the break.

The Shamrocks finished strongly with the third of the Quigley brothers Conor, superb at the heart of their defence.
