JUST weeks after they sold out the Ardhowen Theatre, one of Ireland’s longest run and most popular comedy sitcoms has already confirmed that they’ll be returning to Fermanagh next year.
The Enniskillen venue was a sell-out recently as the hugely popular ‘Give My Head Peace’ team stopped off for a unique question and answer roadshow, with BBC journalist, Tara Mills.
The North-based comedy sitcom has now confirmed that they’re going to be bringing their fun-filled and action packed show back to the Ardhowen Theatre next year.
“After yet another sell-out tour last year across Northern Ireland, the ‘Give My Head Peace’ team return to the stage with a brand new live show for 2025,” said an Ardhowen Theatre spokesperson.
“You‘ll meet your favourite characters from Ulster’s best-loved dysfunctional family. Da, Cal, Ma, Dympna, Billy the Peeler, Pastor Begbie and Sandy the Kneebreakers barman will all be there.
“There will be up to the minute satire, top class stand-up from Tim McGarry, silly plots and the occasional song.
‘Give My Head Peace’ is a firm favourite for all the family. It’s a night of riotous fun with guaranteed laughs. Book early to avoid disappointment,” they added.
The Ardhowen Theatre was a sell-out recently when some of the cast from the ‘Give My Head Peace’ comedy sitcom brought a unique twist to the Enniskillen stage.
“We’re delighted to be at the Ardhowen [Theatre] talking about some of our favourite ‘Give My Head Peace’ moments on the BBC,” popular comedian Tim McGarry said.
“There’s a lot to choose from and plenty of stories for us to share. It should be a great night. We know that Tara Mills is a fan and have given her permission to ask us plenty of difficult questions.
“Who knows what we might say,” added the distinguished Belfast actor.
