The Tumbling Paddies to release new music

FANS of The Tumbling Paddies are in for a treat after the band confirmed that they’re going to be releasing new music in the next few weeks.

The six-man band is one of the leading lights in the local music scene in Ireland and they’re set to take another major step in their music career by launching some new tracks.

“Who’s ready for some new music,” teased The Tumbling Paddies on Friday, with the news received warmly from their huge fan base.

The Tumbling Paddies recently released their live album ‘The Journey So Far’ and the track album went down a big hit with their music fan base, on both sides of the border.

Speaking to the Herald prior to the release of their live album, percussionist with The Tumbling Paddies, John McCann, was excited by the production.

“We have been working very hard on this album and we’re looking forward to seeing how it will go down with the fans,” he said.

“We feel very lucky that everywhere we go and everywhere we play, we’re greeted by so many fans and we’re very thankful always for the support that we receive.”

The Tumbling Paddies recently released their schedule for July and August which will see them headline gigs and concerts right across the island.

The band is set to headline the Monaghan Town Festival tomorrow (Thursday). On Friday, they’re performing at the Derg Fest in Castlederg, before heading to Offaly on Saturday.

The Tumbling Paddies conclude the weekend’s events in style on Sunday with what’s expected to be a sell-out performance at Whitebottom Farm in Stockport at the ‘Craic by the Creek’ festival.

Coa drummer, John McCann, said that the band is excited for their upcoming dates.
