Nathan Carter downplays Love Island links

FERMANAGH Country music star Nathan Carter has downplayed rumours that he could be heading into the ‘Villa’ as the new series of ‘Love Islands’ captures the attention of fans across the island.

First aired back in 2015, ‘Love Island’ has returned to ITV screens and fans are keeping a close eye on proceedings in Mallorca to see which couples will find their perfect match.

The 34-year-old Liverpudlian was recently linked to ‘Love Island’ after he teased fans that he was working on a new show for ITV, after his brother, Jake, took to social media with a cryptic post.

“Best of luck to the big bro heading into the Love Island villa. Nathan Carter, we love you, and know you’ll be amazing as always. See you soon bro,” posted the Fermanagh singer.

Carter has quickly downplayed the links to the dating show though. He informed his ever-growing fan base that he’s working on producing a new culinary show for ITV.

The Liverpool singer is in the midst of a major tour of Ireland and the UK which is seeing him headline concerts and gigs at some of the biggest venues here and across the water.

As previously reported by the Herald, Carter has spent time in London, working alongside hugely respected producer Guy Chambers, who has played a key role in the career of Robbie Williams.

“[I] had a great couple of days in London writing and recording with the hit maker Guy Chambers. I can’t wait to get back,” the Liverpool singer said from Kensington in London.

Carter has also recently been spotted working on a new project with Donegal Country music legend, Daniel O’Donnell, where he joked they were working on a ‘Baywatch audition’.
