Fermanagh music band collabs with Nathan Carter

A FERMANAGH band has said it was ‘pretty surreal’ to collaborate with Country music star Nathan Carter, pictured right, on the release of their much-anticipated new single.

Fresh off the back of their sold-out and impressive gig at Pat’s Bar in Enniskillen, the family-based band from the Knocks has taken another major step in their music career by releasing a new song.

‘Tully’ – which is made up of band members, Maria Connolly, Sinead Connolly, Karen Connolly, Danielle Cadden and base player Paddy McCabe – confirmed the release of their single ‘Listen to the Radio’.

“So our secret is finally out and yes some of you were right,” ‘Tully’ posted in a statement.

“A huge thank you to Nathan (Carter) for asking us to be a part of this. It was pretty surreal listening to RTE Radio 1 and watching The Six O’Clock Show this evening [Tuesday].”

‘Listen to the Radio’ is an iconic song. The track was written by American Fred Knipe, before being recorded and released by Don Williams back in April 1982.

The collaboration between the Knocks band and Nathan Carter comes shortly after the Liverpudlian confirmed that he was working on producing new music.

Fermanagh’s Country music star was recently pictured with the legendary producer Guy Chambers in England, with Carter teasing fans that he would be launching some new tracks in the near future.
