Country stars set to unite in Enniskillen

The full lineup has been confirmed for what’s expected to be a ‘another night of foot stomping magic’ at the Ardhowen Theatre in Enniskillen.
‘Fermanagh’s Got Country’ is set to return to the Enniskillen theatre on July 25 for what’s expected to be a sold-out show, with performances from some of Fermanagh’s top Country music acts.
Arney singer Vincy Walmsley, who regular headlines gigs at some of the leading pubs and establishments throughout the county, has been confirmed as one of the main acts on the night.
The PJ Treacy & Sons employee was one of the star performers at the ‘Fermanagh’s Got Country’ roadshow at the Ardhowen Theatre last year. He’s expected to star in Enniskillen once again.
“I’m just going to keep doing what I love doing and that’s singing and entertaining people. I’ve a lot of gigs to do now around Fermanagh, Donegal, Tyrone and Armagh,” Mr Walmsley told the Herald.
“I had the opportunity to front a big band a few years back, but I was happy with the way things were going for me and I didn’t like the idea of being away from home a lot.”
Some of Fermanagh’s leading Country music stars are all set to share the stage at ‘Fermanagh’s Got Country’ concert at the Ardhowen Theatre next month.
Former TG4 ‘Glór Tíre’ contestants, Anthony McBrien and Derrygonnelly singers Rachel McConnell and Karl Kirkpatrick, have been confirmed as headline performers on the July 25 concert.
Husband and wife, Thomas Maguire and Fhiona Ennis, are set to showcase some of their top songs, alongside the likes of Seanie Mac, Shaun Loughrey and Irvinestown’s Joe Mahon.
The Ardhowen Theatre is looking forward to hosting the top Country stars, with the popular roadshow set to be headlined by BBC Radio Ulster presenter, Hugo Duncan.
“Back by popular demand ‘Fermanagh’s Got Country’ returns to the Ardhowen for another night of foot stomping magic showcasing the best of Erneside,” said a spokesperson.
“One things for sure if it’s Country Music you like then this is the show for you.”
