Enniskillen Royal Boat Club – Rowing

 

Another stellar year for Enniskillen Royal Boat Club. A slew of medals at the Irish Indoor Rowing Championships in Limerick was followed in Schools cup wins for the first eight boys and WJ16 girls. July saw a massive haul of medals from the Irish Rowing Championships in Cork, including 10 golds.

St Ronan’s P.S. Lisnaskea – Boys and Girls GAA

An outstanding year for the Boys and Girls footballers of St Ronan’s PS Lisnaskea. The girls won the Cumann na mBunscol Indoor Football title, the Cumann na mBunscol INTO girls Mini Sevens and the Cumann na mBunscol Division 1 Girls crown. The boys won the Mini Sevens the Division 1 title.

Enniskillen Royal – Rugby Girls Team

 

The Enniskillen Royal rugby girls saw off challenges from Ballyclare High School, Victoria College, Belfast and Dungannon Royal to reach the Ulster Schools Tag Cup where they faced old sparring partners, Grosvenor. After a tough game in Cookstown the Royal girls ran out 3-1 winners.

Enniskillen Model – Fermanagh Schools Swimming Champions

 

April saw the annual Fermanagh Schools Swimming gala being staged in the Lakeland Forum. Eleven schools took part in a frantic day of pool action in Enniskillen. Enniskillen Model had an outstanding day, winning the team relays, winning the most medals overall and bringing home two trophies.

Erne Integrated – All-Ireland Rugby Girls Finalists

 

After an unbeaten run through Ulster, Erne Integrated College’s u15 rugby girls team travelled to Dublin for All-Ireland Finals day. After wins over King’s Hospital and Clifden Community College they defeated Limerick side St Anne’s Community School in extra time to win the All-Ireland Plate.
