In Fermanagh we are fortunate to have such a great selection of high street stores and boutiques and at this time of year Christmas shopping should be a lot simpler due to the fact that we have such a good choice. If like me you leave your shopping to the last minute it is reassuring to know that we have such excellent variety on our doorstep.
One shopping mecca that we are very fortunate to have right in the heart of Enniskillen is Houston’s. This is Fermanagh’s answer to John Lewis and with everything you need under one roof your Christmas wish list should be well and truly sorted.
Whether it’s a fabulous party dress for your work Christmas party night, a new comfortable woolly jumper to keep you cosy throughout the cold months, a new pair of heels to wow on your Christmas nights out, some accessories to glam up an outfit or perhaps you need to get cracking on those Christmas presents you will find everything you need at Houston’s.

Downstairs you have high street consignments such as Oasis, Warehouse, Wallis and Quiz where you will certainly be able to kit yourself out from head to toe for all those glamorous Christmas events and pick up a few goodies for your loved ones along the way.
Travel upstairs and you will find a whole new shopping experience with high end designer brands such as Espirit, Mexx, Gerry Weber and Betty Barclay. As well as this you will also find accessories, perfumes and all those little extras to complete your party outfit.
If like me you sometimes go shopping alone for a bit of retail therapy and ‘me time’ it is reassuring to know that there is always a friendly member of staff there to offer you advice and help on choosing your outfit. Sometimes a second opinion is all you need to make up your mind on an outfit and it is nice to have an honest opinion and perhaps alternative suggestions from an experienced sales person or in other words your very own personal shopper for an hour.
