World Dance Masters

WORLD CLASS.. Ellie Moran and Lauryn Lynch have recently returned from the World Dance Masters in Blackpool with top placings

Two talented young line dancers have just returned from the World Dance Masters in Blackpool with top placings.

Both girls dance under the guidance of Julie Rice at Movers N Groovers dance club in Newtownbutler and all at the club are hugely proud of their success.

Lauryn Lynch placed 2nd overall in her solo newcomer teenage division, 2nd in her pro am dancing with professional dancer Fred og Whitehouse, and 4th place in partners with Megan Murphy.

Ellie Moran placed 5th place overall in her solo division newcomer junior. These are fantastic results at world level.

The Movers N Groovers dance club is now going into its third year and meets every Monday night in Newtownbutler and on Tuesday nights in Donagh.

This is coming to the start of the dance year – in September – so the next few months will be very busy for Ellie, Lauryn and all the movers and groovers.

Among the many fixtures ahead that these girls will be competing at include the dance festival in Coalisland in October and the Ulster competition at the Share Centre at the start of December.
