PRIOR to today’s fixture against Ards, manager Whitey Anderson spoke of taking their chances, with a view to walking away with three points.
And as Davy Kee struck home a rebound after his own 69th minute penalty, it looked as if the Mallards had done just that this afternoon (Saturday December 7)
A handball decision against Ards’ Andy Hunter led to the second half penalty.
In the later stages, Steve Feeney hit the crossbar with a header.
And in the end Anderson’s side held on for the three points at Ferney Park.
See Wednesday (December 11) for full reaction to today’s game.
