COUNTRY musician, John Garrity, has released his latest single ‘Tryin’ to get over you’.
The Trillick-born musician recorded the Vince Gill cover around six months ago, and is using it to help promote his new DVD which is to be released in the next number of weeks.
“It’s the sort of song that will connect with people – Facebook has been great with it, and it’s on YouTube where it’s got lots and lots of hits,” explained John this week.
“I initially heard that song in Galway – a fella played it. And I thought I’d heard that song a couple of times before and not picked up on it. But when you sit back and listen to the words, it’s first class.”
John is to launch his DVD on November 25 in the Westville Hotel.
“The DVD is done, it’s finished and it’s ready to go – and the new single has just been flying out – people are liking the words on it. ” he concluded.
