The husband and wife stole bolt cutters from a local shop.

The judge commented that it appeared there had been an increase in drink driving locally.
The defendant shouted to police: “That’s my yoke. I just lost her, no point lying about it.”
The judge said that while defendant was entitled to the benefit of the doubt, he was concerned by her absence and previous record.
